Best airport bars for the holidays (or whenever)
Holiday travel is almost synonymous with stress, which is why Jaunted whipped up this list of best airport bars. Tarmac fines, finally
Score one for passengers! Continental Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines were fined a grand total of $175,000 for leaving passengers stranded on the tarmac for nearly six hours in Rochester, Minn. last summer. This is the first time that airlines have been fined for delays.

Frequent shoppers
Unless you’re one of those people who finish holiday shopping before Halloween, you probably still have a list to check twice. Make those purchases work double-duty by shopping via airlines’ websites; pay the same price on, say, an iPod and book frequent flyer miles while you’re at it. Bonus: Skip the crushing holiday crowds.

You could roam around New York subway stations searching for off-the-wall performers (it won’t take long), or you could just check out the Huffington Post’s New York Subway Performers Project. Use it as a guide if you’re in the area, or submit your favorite Michael Jackson impersonator’s location to help fill up his hat.
